    Gradient and Ambient Air
If my enclosure is between 79 and 81 on the cold side and 89 to 91 on the hot side, it stands to reason that she's got a good gradient in the middle of the tank as well as an appropriate ambient air temperature throughout the tank (top and bottom,) yes?

Her hot probe is INSIDE her hot hut and the cold is OUTSIDE the cold hut at the back. I use the ambient heat/light black lights to boost her Temps to the appropriate heats, as her mat only reaches 86-88 without it - The thermostat is set to 91 and I don't want to go any higher. By the time the heat gets through the glass it's cooler, so the light helps warm up her hut and radiate heat into her sides and belly as well as top.

Same for the cool side. Way too cold without the light, so I use it to keep her cold side at the right temp, and figure the light over the hut causes nice, radiating heat into her sides and top when she's in it. Not so much belly since there's no mat on that side. (The lights are on dimmers and are very dim as they are ambient, so it doesn't bother her. It would be like the moon at night.)

She uses both huts, so I guess it's ok?

The temperature gradient sounds about right. As long as she's eating and doesn't seem stressed, your setup should be fine. It sounds like if she's using both hides she's thermoregulating just fine. One thing I was thinking, you said glass, do you have her in an aquarium with a screen top? With that you may need to cover a portion of the top to keep humidity in. Of course you may know this and have it taken care of already, but figured I'd say something in case you need help with that. :)
Oh, one other question, when you say hot probe, do you mean the thermometer or thermostat probe?
