BP now active in the morning?

My 1 year old BP has become active in the morning as of late. When she used to crawl around and stick her head out of her hide usually just before I go to bed, she does this routine in the morning inside, when usually in the morning she stays in her hide. Is this natural behavior because of the season change?

And before you ask, yes shes eating, she shed, her temps are good yadda yadda.

If everything is fine, you have nothing to worry about. A ball python will essentially do whatever it feels like doing whether it is roaming around in the morning or sleeping all day. It's literally up to them. As long as they have everything that they need and are consistently eating, there is no problem.

Lots of people say they're nocturnal and leave it at that, but I've also read that BP's are most active in the evening and morning. I suspect that a lot of keepers basically have no idea whether their animal is active from 9-11PM and again from 6-8AM, or active any time from 9PM until 8AM.

If your snake hasn't had a prey size increase in awhile, it's possible that she's just getting a little hungrier a little sooner in the week, so she's doing a little more active hunting. Or she's gradually outgrowing her babyish shyness. Another possibility is that she's actually been active at a similar time in relation to the sunrise for awhile, but you didn't notice until the sunrise was getting late enough for you to see it. Like, she's up and about for an hour after sunrise, but if you wake up at 7 you won't see it in the summer and you will see it in the fall.
