Morph Confirmation
This guy was sold to me at a reptile show as a Lesser Mojave Woma. It was brought to my attention in a different thread that this is not the case since he's not all white (BEL). Breeder says the pairing was a Mojave x Lesser Woma. Based on that, I believe he's a Lesser Woma. I just wanted to get everyone's opinion if that seems right. Do you see anything that would make you think otherwise? Since the breeder was wrong about the genes, makes me question whether the parents are what he says they are.

Re: Morph Confirmation
Head pattern, body pattern and color sounds pretty right for lesser woma.....now I just don't get are the seller could sell that as Mojave Lesser Woma.

Re: Morph Confirmation
Unfortunately I was ignorant at the time and didn't realize it. I questioned the seller later about it and, perhaps I'm too trusting, but he seemed convinced this animal has the 3 genes. One of the parents was a Lesser Woma, so my snake should look fairly similar. So, either he has no clue what he's doing or he's a liar. But the fact he had the case labeled Lesser Mojave Woma makes me think he really believes it.
Oh well, I bought him because I liked how he looked, but it's always nice to know what you have. Thanks, Deb.

He's a nice looking snake!

If it is someone that does show you may have a chance that he will make it right if you contact him. Obviously HE should have know better and should correct the situation.

That clearly a lesser woma and if one of the parents was a lesser woma... I have zero idea how the breeder messed that up owning one.

Yeah no Mojave in there...

I'd have to get him to admit the mistake first. And not sure how it could be rectified, other than a partial refund. I like the snake and I'm not giving him back. I bought him for $150. Not sure what the going rate would be. I'll just look at as a lesson learned - do research on what you're buying.

It wasn't priced for a lesser mojave, let alone a lesser mojave woma. I would be expecting a few more hundred dollars for that.

Re: Morph Confirmation
Right - I don't think I got shafted on the price. I just didn't get a gene that was advertised. Like you said, if it was what was advertised, I would have made out really well. Makes you wonder if he knew there was no Mojave and that's why he sold it for that price.
I'm okay with how it turned out - just wanted to make sure of what I did have.
