Some say scaleless, I say eyeless! [emoji85]
I wanted to post this girl because I had not experienced anything like ever before. The pairing was a pastel special to super Mojave. I have seen some people hatching eyeless snakes lately and I know it's nothing new. Does not change the fact that it is awesome to see!! The best part about the animal is the instinct to survive. She took live food right after her first shed and has been aggressive ever since on her feeding response. After fed, she handles well with no aggression. If anything, she is more curious than anything. Truly fascinating to watch and study. One thing I do want to point out is how different her coloring and pattern turned out from the rest of the clutch. At the very best, she is a pastel special Mojave aka pastel crystal. Her siblings consisted of 2 pastel crystals, 1 crystal, and a pastel Mojave. Now I have seen all the thoughts on why this happens, but nothing is confirmed whether it be genetics or incubation. What I can say is my incubator is a steady temperature with no known spikes through out there time in there. She actually pipped second on the 58 day mark. The siblings are flawless and have no signs of any problems. All I can say is this girl is not a problem to me, but a mascot for my hobby and truly a good conversation piece to anyone, snake haters and all!! Look closely at the pictures to see the differences in pattern and color. I think she will color out eventually. She has had 4 meals now and never refuses. Can't wait to see her at 2000 grams. Anyways thought you guys/gals would enjoy and thanks for looking. Brother and sister picture included. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...5740767da8.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...95d7de47a8.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...9dea4d1418.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...326e02b4e3.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...4e7aafc7c0.jpg

That's wild! I haven't seen it a ton but glad to hear she's doing well, I agree they use mostly heat signature to hunt but she's an awesome little gal! I can't wait to see her at 2k either!

What a beautiful little girl! I'm glad to hear she is doing so well and hope it continues! It's amazing how they can adapt to anything thrown their way.
I have a question since I know nothing of eyeless ball pythons. Is it possible there's eyes there but under skin/scales? I'm sure there would be an easy way to tell from the pic but I wouldn't know what to look for. Just a curious question.
