How long to wait before holding new ball python
So i just got my first ball python yesterday and i really want to hold her but i also dont want to stress her out. I was wondering what everyone thinks is a good amount of time to wait before holding her, ive heard everything from a day or 2 to a week.

Leave your new BP alone for a week, feed and if feeding is successful you can hold you BP 24 to 48 hours after that first feed.

Right now you want to limit stress, let it acclimate to it's new environment and take it's first meal for you, in that order.

Yup, she's right. At least a week and then only after she's taken a meal, and wait for 48 hours after that.
