That wouldn't last forever though, would it? I'm unaware of the size enclosure a fully grown male GTP would require :confusd:
It can last forever for an adult male on the smaller end. Sorongs and jayapuras are generally smaller localities, but a little harder to find.
For the most part, the sizing is personal preference, like it is for ball pythons... the "ideal" is 24x24x24. If you give them more room, they might sometimes use it at night when they're roaming and looking for food. But they're really very placid animals, and don't move much at all during the day. I think being called a pet rock on branches is fitting LOL. Some breeders keep them in tubs even smaller than that size, and they do fine. Horizontal width is more important for them than height, so it's best to pick an enclosure measured that way.
