    Best arboreal snakes?
I have an 18x18x24 exo terra that I'd love to hold an arboreal snake of some sort. All suggestions are welcome. I'm willing to upgrade enclosures, just would rather have it last at least a few months :gj:
I know how to handle humidity and heat, so that's not a concern in what species to avoid. I think that with my experience and the internet, I can handle pretty much anything! :P

If not, I'll be getting a trio of male red eyed tree frogs.

That size could work for a small male GTP, if you are able to build up perches in some way. I'm not handy and don't build my own enclosures, so I don't have tips on that!

My dad is actually incredibly handy, as in he's a carpenter for a living type of handy, so I'm sure we could figure something out! I'm actually in love with GTPs, they're such beautiful snakes.
That wouldn't last forever though, would it? I'm unaware of the size enclosure a fully grown male GTP would require :confusd:

It can last forever for an adult male on the smaller end. Sorongs and jayapuras are generally smaller localities, but a little harder to find.

For the most part, the sizing is personal preference, like it is for ball pythons... the "ideal" is 24x24x24. If you give them more room, they might sometimes use it at night when they're roaming and looking for food. But they're really very placid animals, and don't move much at all during the day. I think being called a pet rock on branches is fitting LOL. Some breeders keep them in tubs even smaller than that size, and they do fine. Horizontal width is more important for them than height, so it's best to pick an enclosure measured that way.
