What to do with purchases during show?

Usually I only buy 1 animal when I attend a show, but this time I'm planning to buy multiple animals.
I'll be staying in a hotel Saturday night (Expo runs sat-sun). If I make any purchases Saturday, will they be okay in their cups/bags until Sunday night? Do I need to do anything special- heating, etc?
I'm assuming that Pacmans, Cresties, and Gargoyle geckos won't be an issue just staying in their deli cup. I'll also probably purchase bp's and maybe leos, these are the main ones I'm concerned about.

Also, for those of you who make multiple purchases, how do you carry around all of them? Do you put them all in a box or something?

Sorry if this question has been answered, I'm just not used to buying multiple animals at an expo. Plus they stress me out with all of the people!

im vending at my first ever reptile expo this month and ive seen plenty of youtube videos where people purchased an animal and left it with the seller until they were done that day. At the end they went and got all the pickups they bought and left.

Well they ship reptiles without heating their shipping box as long as the weather is good. And my BP was loose in my house for 2 months at room temperature in the upper 60s low 70s. and I am pretty sure the vendors just leave them in their deli cups overnight too its not like they bring along dozens and dozens of thermostats, heating elements and large enough enclosures for a temperature gradient. Safer for them to be too cool then too hot.

so personally as long as I wasn't picking up an incredibly sensitive species - i wouldn't sweat it.

I know that the reptile shows around here limit the amount of reptiles you bring into the show though, so depending on your check out time at the hotel on Sunday you might be toting all of Saturdays purchases back with you. Make sure you are allowed to bring them back into the show or ask the vendors you purchase from if they would hold till Sunday morning.

As for carrying all the critters. That's what my boyfriend and his big gorilla arms are for. We just use a snake bag. :p

If the animal is going to be in a cool car for a 3-4 hour trip, would it be worthwhile to purchase a heat pack to put under the cup, or keep it in your lap? Which would stress the animal less?

When we went to Daytona we kept the snakes and lizards in their cups on the bathroom counter. We put the Do Not Disturb sign on the hotel door the entire trip to prevent housekeeping scares.

If you're staying in a hotel then what I would do is give the person a deposit to mark it sold. Then have it remain in their care until you are heading back home. By giving a deposit it shows you really plan to get the animal and with it remaining in their care if something was to happen. You haven't taken possession yet.
