monitor lizard bites

These large monitors can do quite a bit of damage if they get you good. I've been bit a few times but nothing crazy.

what's the worst bites you've gotten from a monitor? what type was it? any pictures? :)

My Tegu got spooked outside and took a chunk out of my inner upper arm fat a few years ago. Besides the cut part it was all surrounded by a palm size bruise. If healed up fine though, just a few white line scars. I don't know if I still have a picture.
