Help in identifying rat genetics

I know these pictures and videos suck. I will take more later. Just trying to get a rough idea on the genetics of my feeder/breeder/pets.

This is my first pet rat Tony. The breeder told me she was a male, hence her name, but that was false lol. I initially thought she was a blue self, but other breeders have told me mink self.

This is the male, Steve, that she produced her first litter with. An agouti hooded?

Some videos of her and her offspring. As far as I can remember (all the babies were fed off), she produced blacks, fawns, and agoutis. Various markings, selfs, hoodeds, berkshires, blazes. No albinos, all black eyed. But if those are fawns then they had to have been dark ruby eyed and I didn't notice.

My conclusions about Tony's genes:
aa B- C- D- G- mm pepe P- Rr
I haven't gotten too into the genetics on markings yet, so I have no clue about that.

I guess Steve's genetics would have been:
Aa B- CC D- G- MM pepe P- Rr

My other adult female is Skittles. She has points, so she is either a seal point siamese or a himalayan. Since she grew into her points as she got older, as opposed to the color fading down, I believe that makes her a himalayan. I don't have any adult shots of her right now, I will take some later. I also never took pictures of her litter with Steve before feeding them off :rolleyes:. I don't think that there were any albinos. Only blacks and agoutis.

I currently have a temporary male in with Tony and Skittles that I believe is a blue berkshire.
aa B- C- D- gg M- pepe P- R-

I'm raising up two young males as future breeders, and keeping an eye out for some cool females when I go to get feeders this weekend.

One male is a blue hooded dumbo:
aa B- C- D- gg M- pepe P- R-

The other I have no idea what to call lol. He looks like an opossum, so his name is The Opossum King (after the Toadies song). He appears to be grey with some brown at the edges. I have no clue on his genetics.

I've been researching rat genetics. But any help/correction is appreciated :D.

The first rat the color is hard to tell from the picture from the video I would say mink.

Second same thing hard to tell if the color is black or agouti from that pict her so either black hooded or agouti hooded.

Last blaze agouti which I would not keep as a breeder if I were you.

A good idea is to compare your rats to this or post better pictures ;)

Yeah these pics are horrible lol. I'm about to post new ones. That's the site that I have actually been looking at lol.

Here are my (somewhat) better pictures. Rats are a lot harder to take pictures of than snakes, we were driving each other crazy :rolleye2:. Tony is the only one who enjoys a lot of human attention. Skittles just wants treats. I'm working on taming the two young males.

Tony is also a few months older in these pictures, so definitely has her adult coat. There's a big difference between her and the ones I suspect that are actually blues. I totally forgot that she had a white stripe on her belly.

Here's the dumbo. The feeder/breeder facebook group that I'm in says mismarked hooded probably blue but maybe mink.

And the consensus is that this male is an agouti over marked blazed berkshire.

I don't know much about rat genetics but it seems that no matter what rat I breed I get all different kinds of babies, all white, all grey, all black, white and black hooded, ect... Seems like all their genes are all mixed up. It's actually pretty cool.

The one u say looks lk a possum, its called a dumbo eared rat or a dumbo rat. They are cute.
