    Handling breeders
This will be my first year of breeding with only 1 pair (next year I'll have at least 3 females ready). I am a huge animal lover and try to handle all of my animals regularly but since they will be breeding should I slow down on handling to only putting the pair together and seperating them? Generally I'll hold each snake maybe 3 or 4 times throughout the week. With eggs in her belly Im just wondering if I could hurt them? Thanks in advance!

On a side note I have not put my pair together yet I'm waiting until about November

Id definitely leave the breeding female alone for a while to minimize stress as much as possible. I didn't handle my female until she finally laid her eggs which felt like an eternity. You'll definitely miss handling your babies but you want them to be as stress free as possible to keep mom from absorbing follicles and to keep from damaging any development inside mama.

Yep leave the females alone. Remember that handling them is more for you and they aren't fans even if they tolerate it well. That's why you just need more snakes so there's always someone safe to handle :P
