Rectangular bugs in BP's water bowl
So I got my BP about five days ago. I put him in an enclosure with cypress mulch bedding, but I have been finding this very tiny black bugs in his water bowl. I'm pretty sure they are not mites since they are very tiny, they are rectangular not round, and they have only been in the water not on the snake. I also don't think they are wood mites since they are black. I tried washing them out of the bowl, but they keep reappearing. What are they? Are they harmful? What do I do?

You could try taking the snake out and putting it somewhere else and see if they reapear. I'd still say just treat for mites as a caution.
