    Help!?
I just my new yearling ball python in the mail today. When I first got her she looked to be in great condition. I put her in the enclosure I had set up for her. I checked on her a few hours later and it looks to be dried blood on her nose area which wasn't there when I first received her. There is nothing sharp in her enclosure. I don't know what it could be from?? Any advice?

People need for info: describe the cage set up thoroughly; how are you heating and what are hot side/cool side temps; what is the in-cage humidity level. Can you tell us when last fed and what? How is her behavior now?

Picture of set up. I'd guess you overlooked something that could have scratched it while it was cruising around and checking out the new enclosure.

False alarm, it came right off with wet q-tip. It was just small amounts of substrate stuck to her lips. Thanks ppl who responded.
