Best hides for ball pythons

I've tried the fancy looking, commercial hides, plastic bins with holes, etc.
I got him some clay pots of appropriate size and drilled out the bottom holes larger using a ceramic hole saw and file.
He is in heaven now! Recommend this.

Thanks for this. I got a couple of pots for the same purpose and am relieved to learn that they will actually be used

Each pot only costs $5 each retail. Another plus.

good idea seems to work, only thing i don't like is that they aren't glazed.
