Re: Pieds vs banana morphs
The genes that are being talked about are as follows:
Banana- Codominant - 200
Piebald- Recessive - 400 (50 for het)
Pastel- Codominant - 50
Mojave- Codominant - 100 (400ish for a super)
Vanilla- Codominant - 100
Pinstripe- Dominant - 75
So, of all traits listed, the banana is the highest price single gene, and will yeild the highest value (aside from smashing 2 high end pieds together for pied babies). Combining traits of different snakes increases the overall value of the offspring, so the more genetics you have going in, the more profit you can potentially turn.
Super Mojave isn't really a good choice for getting a profit, as other traits wouldn't be visible.
So whatever you go for, your investment is most likely to end up returned by adding the genetics of numerous lines together. Pied isn't really a good investment unless you're going to end up with pied or 100% offspring (pied x 100% het breeding).
That said, the likelihood of the costs dropping by the time you breed is pretty high.

Ethics aside, I'd say get a banana. I personally think it crosses into other morphs better.
No main reason is for the love of it. I just don't want to breed something that won't sell and be sitting on it for a long time.

I figured as much only would have one non het female other two would be 100% het for pied.. daughter wants a white ball Python lol . Main reason why I got Mojave wish I would have researched better...
