    Ball python wheezing
Just yesterday, my BP that I've had for over a year now started wheezing. Not all the time, only in sessions when I'm holding him and he's being quite active. I can never hear it while he is idle. There is no mucus, no bubbles under his lips, no open mouth breathing, the only symptom of a RI is occasional audible whistling. He just shed and there are no skin flaps over his nose. Should I be worried? Should I take him to a vet immediately?

    Hi,

No I would simply keep an eye on it at this point since there are no other symptoms. It might just be a side effect of heavy breathing or the positions he gets into while climbing/ hanging on etc.
