I feel like I'm a true BP owner now...
So, I got my first bp (first snake/first reptile) last November, a female Mojave. She was 64g when I brought her home. Such a cute little thing. Well, she's fed GREAT and very quickly for me every week since I've had her. Never missed a meal whether she was in blue or not.

Well, last night was feeding time. I'd had her out on Friday and could tell a shed may be coming soon. Last night, her eyes were in about the blue-est/whitest phase of shed that I've seen on her. Knowing her past, I didn't think twice and thawed a rat for her. Once it was ready, I offered it up, and she sniffed a little, then went right back into her hide. Knowing her vision was likely a little off, I decided to leave it in her enclosure over night. It was still there this morning, so I disposed of it. My first meal refusal. She's up to 662g now, so I'm not really worried about her missing a feeding or two, or three... lol... but this was my first. I feel like I'm part of the club now. LOL

lol great. now go for the triple crown of BP ownership:

    1. refuse to eat - CHECK
    2. bite
    3. poop/peed on

I think 4 can be deciding they want to totally switch rodent preference and eat the most inconvenient thing for you to get.

^^^This!!! My 1400 gram pastel male does this in the spring after his winter fasts. Goes from medium 150gram rats most of the year to wanting 30gram mice. So annoying!
