Please help identify this baby!

Found this little guy outside this morning. At only about 5 inches long he is a feisty little bugger LOL I live in northeastern Ohio any ideas what species he belongs to?

Looks like a corn snake.

Looks like a juvenile eastern milk snake.

I second eastern king.

3 reaponses, 3 different snakes lol at least these snakes are fitting. I posted a picture of him on Facebook and I got everything from a water moccasin to a cottonmouth and these snakes don't even have a speck of red on them LOL

I saw a picture of a baby milk snake that looked just like him but I don't know. There are a few different species that he can be I just don't know how I can get a more definite answer

Think AntTheDestroyer was seconding riditmar's "eastern milk" and just typed king on accident. In which case I'll third it, eastern milk snake - Lampropeltis triangulum triangulum.

I realized that after the fact lol I looked it up and it's called 'Eastern king' milksnake or Eastern milksnake, i took a pic from google that resembles him 100%
