New BP owner, need some guidance!
So I just got my hatchling BP two weeks ago. I've fed him twice in that time and still haven't seen him poop. He doesn't seem to be backed up at all, is this normal? Does it vary from snake to snake?
Also, I just fed him early morning yesterday and I know you're supposed to wait at least 24 hours before holding him. It's been about 40 hours since he ate so I decided to hold him. His lower tummy was twitching every few minutes (off and on) and then stopped after about 15 minutes. Is he having digestive issues or?

I can't say about twitching but he will "poop" when ready. I feed mine on Friday nights and usually by Sunday afternoon they are ok to handle. Just keep the temps and humidity good and all should be fine. 80-82 cool side 88-90 high side and about 55-70 humidity (55 being average and 70ish while in shed)

For some reason it took mine like four weeks to poop for the first time! Ever since that first poop though he's on a regular weekly schedule haha

As long as the animal doesn't bloat up more than a bit of poop butt, just give em time!

My young BP after I got her took a few weeks to poop also and she ate every feeding I offered. From what I've ready it's not uncommon and if all else seems fine that there shouldn't be a concern. Since it took so long I now log when ever my BP eats, poops and sheds to help me keep track of health. If anything else were to arise I would log this also so I have a history in case of any health issues in the future. I'm a newbie too but that's my experience so far.
