    few quick questions
    hi

    im refering to a bp:

would just like to ask a few questions to the people with a lot of breeding experience:

at what weight should the snake be when ready for breeding, its a long time before i do breed my two i just need to know at what weight would be ideal, and would bring me best results.

I do not want to rush into breeding but would like to have the knowledge when it comes to it, i know a fair ammount but you get a lot of caresheets from people with not much experience, so being informed by people who have been sucsessful in the past would be exellent. Also when i plan to breed i would like to makemy snake feel as comfortable as possible so could someone inform me about the husbandry of a gravid female ball python.

thank you for taking the time to read and thnx if you respond :)

the answers to most of you questions are out there....you just have to look :)

Here are some of the best breeding info sites out there:

8 Ball Pythons....Adam posts here and can answer just about any question you throw at him - http://www.8ballpythons.com/journal/...ngcalendar.htm

Joe Compel Reptiles.... Joe also posts here and covers the majority of topics that have to do with breeding.... http://www.joecompelreptiles.com/ball_bits/

Markus Jayne - Mark is a canadian breeder that has one of the best sites out there IMO...his breeding step by step w/ pics is wicked cool...

Read all of that info.....If you still have questions I am sure some of us can help out ;)

EDIT: also, check out some of the previous posts in the Breeding section....there is alot of info on this site too.
