    Hello All
Greetings everyone. My name is Kevin and I live in central Florida. I've been lurking around the forums for a little while using the information here to determine if a BP would be right for me. So, last weekend I brought an 11 month old, male, queen bee BP into my home. I'm not too much of a stranger to reptiles; several years ago I had a corn snake, leopard gecko, bts, and bearded dragon. Because of a cancer diagnosis, I decided to simplify things in my life (and for my wife) and re-home all of them. FFWD 16 years and I got the bug again. I was never much of a snake person, but this BP has really changed that. I also have a male (I believe) blood-red hypo corn snake that is also about 11 months old. I enjoy him as well, but I am really hoping he settles down a bit as he ages. I've had him for about four months. My daughter (who is my partner in crime convincing my wife to allow us to have reptiles) has a year old female bearded dragon. Although I love bearded dragons, I had forgotten how expensive they are to feed! I believe I am a fully converted snake person! I'm already trying to decide which morph BP and other breeds of snake I want in the future. I have to take it slow, though. My wife is NOT a snake fan:colbert: and she has been extremely understanding up to this point. I also want to develop a nice (easy to control and aesthetically pleasing) rack system that I can add to in the future. The snakes must be housed in my den, which is not that large.

Finally, I want to thank everyone who has posted to these forums for sharing their knowledge and experiences raising their scaly friends. I'm sure I'll be posting questions in the very near future. I look forward to reading everyone's posts and I hope I'll be able to help others in the future.

    Kevin

Welcome! Nice of you to finally join us. 😊 What a sucky diagnosis, but it sounds like you're doing pretty good!

Definitely post photos of all your little guys!
