Feeding, two pinkes at once or...

I have an approx. four month old reverse okeetee and at this point when I feed him/her a pinkie, there's a little bump. However, I always thought you look for the bump right after they eat, but apparently you're supposed to see if they have a perceptible bump 12-24 hours later?! At 24 hours I'm not seeing any bump. SO, I was thinking to up him/her to two pinkies per feeding which I would give every five days a week. My question is, do I feed two pinkies every five days or do I feed a pinkie every three days or so? I think the latter is not recommended but I don't know the rationale. Thanks!

My corn is 24 grams, and about the same age as your baby. I'm about to bump him to 2 pinkies every 7 days. I like to space feedings out so I can handle him. That way he isn't in a constant state of digestion.

Either way works fine. I have no idea about the lump after 12-24 hours.. I feed my juvenile corn massive meals and the lump is gone after 3-4 days and 1-2 craps later. I could never wrap my head around feeding a specific size/amount. All things equal, some snakes metabolize faster than others and there are growth spurts to consider. If an animal is looking thinner than it should, it'll get larger meals or fed smaller meals more often. If one is looking thicker, it'll get smaller meals or skip a feeding here and there.
