Fragrances near BP enclosure?

My ball python should be here Tuesday or Wednesday (EEEP!) and I have everything all set up, and ready to go for once she gets here. However I was wondering if certain fragrances near ball python terrariums can be toxic, dangerous or simply unpleasant for them. I know that certain woods can be toxic and I enjoy burning candles, incense, and using those wall plug in fragrances in my room. Since that's where my snake's enclosure will be, I wanted to make absolutely sure it wouldn't irritate her or be dangerous for her. I couldn't find anything online, so thought I would ask all of you lovely and intelligent reptile folk. Thank you!!
