i have my first ever clutch in the incubator, and i cut 4 of the 10 eggs last night

checked on the clutch this morning, and the first baby had it's head peeking out :banana:

hoping all 10 are triple gene morphs.

the first one to peep out died :(:(:(

shot some pics to a few much more experienced breeders i know and they both said it was because the baby did not absorb the yolk properly


nothing i could have prevented, but i still feel terrible about it :tears:

That's the kind of stuff that happens when you breed any animal, unfortunately.
