Am I feeding the correct amount?
I just want to make sure and get some opinions on if I'm feeding my bp a good amount. She just ate her second meal of 2 adult mice and she's 28 inches long. I was feeding her medium mice but read online that that wasn't the ideal amount so I upped the portions and she still eats it all readily. Is this good and should or when do I need to feed more? She's not skinny and sheds perfectly btw. c:

My female is 500 grams and she is all the way up to smaller small rats.

At 500g they can eat small rats. Yes rats are more nutritious than mice. They will start growing quicker if you feed rats. You should get a weight on the snake first and see if the small rat will not be too big. At 28 inches it may only be 350-400g. Check the weight and go from there.

While there is a nutritional difference nutritional requirement however have not been studied, BP do not grow faster because they eat rats they grow faster because the prey item offer is larger.
Gram per gram rat or mice is all the same the real difference is in feeding one larger prey vs multiple smaller ones.
