    Saw one at Petco!
I was at Petco today and they had a baby "Malaysian Blood Python"! I've never seen one at a pet store. . .I hope they make sure the person who buys it knows what they're doing :/. But that sure didn't help my craving for a blood python at all, lol ;).

Anyone else seen one at Petco?

I haven't seen a blood, but I was floored the other day when I saw a Green Tree Python at Petco...with a sign that said 'I have attitude'. I'm fairly certain that's an understatement.

I just saw one of these at our local Petco recently as well. He didn't have that cool sign though. LOL...

By from a breeder. So much better and your first blood will be so much easier

Omg.. that's crazy! My local petcos only have corns and balls. And I doubt whoever bought that GTP knew what they were doing. :O

With the availability of reliable shipping and the Internet there is really no reason for pet stores to stock animals for sale. I can see mom and pop stores keeping animals for display as shop pets but the big box stores should be a place for supplies and that's it. Imo

I've seen numerous bloods at the 2 Petco's near me. Just last week I also saw a baby Black & White Tegu. That one really made me mad, because you know whoever buys it is not going to have a clue.

We only have corns, and BPs at our petcos, or pet smarts, because we have 2 reptile stores very close and the pet stores can't compete. These 2 reptile centers actually have reptile vets right in the store 2 days a week, for customers, just in case you run into a problem with your pet reptiles.

That's absolutely awesome. What's the name of the store?

The blood python is still there. If they have one of their 50% off reptile sales I know who's coming home with me. . .:D.

Ugh, I already decided not to get a blood this year. I should probably hope he sells before they have a sale :P.

Haha, I was at Petsmart and the salesgirls were talking about the BPs. I only heard part of the conversation. One of them said "you know, the banana---the one that bit you!" I wanted to laugh so bad but I didn't .
