    Ball python feeding method
Ok, so usually when I feed my ball python, I just leave it in front of her hide, but she was wandering about on feeding day, so she did her first strike feed! This was exciting and very cool, but I was just wondering. Will she ONLY strike feed now? Or can I go back to my old method.

It depends. I have one guy who will strike sometimes and not other times. But my other guy always strikes. You just have to figure out what she likes.

Get some good long tongs! :D

I got a pair of 18" hemostats online for about $10, I think. they're almost too big sometimes, but other times, I'm glad I have them. I pick up the prey (frozen thawed) and make it appear to walk around in front of her hide. She comes out with a vengeance usually. LOL... Still makes me jump a little every time she strikes it. LOL

What is a small adult mice converted into store sizes?
I got my first ball python (pastel). The breeder told me that he's eating small adult mice, however, the store I go into doesn't have those. They have pinkies, fuzzy, etc. however, do they have medium mice and large mice but no small mice. I'm assuming it's either hoppers or fuzzies. I just want to have his food ready and not give him a small or large meal for him. He's 108 grams and I guess he's about a foot or so. I can't really tell because he's stressed out from the delivery process so I don't want to bother at all. Thanks In advance.

At that size, you can probably do weaned mice or rat fuzzies. Something between 10-20g. You can order frozen prey online from quite a few places. (underground reptiles/big cheese rodents/perfect prey/etc).
