I'm having trouble with keeping up with ambient temps
I'm so worried about Sammy, his humidity is fine but his ambient temps are not. They stay at 76 degrees. I turn off my AC but my family can't take the heat, I can but I can't have my family suffering. What do I do to raise the ambient temps back to normal? Please help! :(

Type and size of enclosure? Heat source? How is it regulated? Type of thermometer and its placement? House temps? Lots of variables to be taken into consideration.

A correctly regulated UTH is not ever meant for ambient temperatures, only a warm spot for your animal to lay.
danielwilu2525, move them to a room that you can shut off a vent to so it will stay warmer in there.

Exactly, That's why I suggested getting a lower wattage heat lamp to keep the rest of the tank warm as well. I had never meant to say just use a UTH, but I know some people who think that it's simply enough.

Holly_berry has the right idea . I have my Mojave in a 20 gallon using a helix thermostat put probe in between pad an glass used foil tape around pad and covered 90 % of screen top with foil tape set temperature 91 degree . I run my AC at 78 while home cool side stays around 78-80. Hot side 88-90.

Sorry for being such a ghost! I was out. He is in a 15qt tub with a Apollo thermostat and a Exo Terra UTH. The tub is placed on a tall block of cloth so my bunny doesn't get to him. The room he's in doesn't have anyone sleeping in it, so I guess I can shut off the vents so it can be warmer.
