Ball python shed and feed
My ball python that ive had for about 5 weeks and he has not shed yet, should i be worried?. Also when i fed him today he took at least 5 strikes to hit the mouse(i feed him frozen thawed). Is this due to the fact he should be shedding soon? Thanks

Ball pythons shed at different rates depending on their age/size. My big adult female only sheds once every 10 weeks or so. I wouldn't worry about it as long as he's eating. If he eats and grows, he will shed.
Him missing could be because of the mouse being not warm enough - if you're feeding it at room temperature, try blasting it with a hair dryer for a few seconds right before offering. The snakes heat pits sense body heat and tell him where to aim.
