Need to bomb my house for ants

My house has ants and there getting into the snake tubs. Sugar ants. I need to bomb my house. What should I do with the snakes? And how long do I need to keep them out the house?

Obviously the snakes and everything else alive in the house that you don't want dead need to be removed. I would also either take their enclosures or completely clean them out afterward.

I get sugar ants every spring. Have you tried Terro bait with them? I've found it works.

Be so careful. My parents had pest control come spray our house without telling me while I was at work and one of my BPs now has permanent neurological damage because of the chemicals.

Sprinkle ant killer around your house every 3 months. Start this right before spring hits. No more ants. As of right now is take every thing out even there cages out side. Most foggers are like 4 hours before u enter then u open all windows and wait a hour or 2 more. Most the time between the cost of the foggers (buying good ones not cheap ones from dollar store) u can have someone spray. U could even go as far as spraying urself and maybe just using a shop vac as u seem them if u want to avoid chemicals near ur snakes. Suck them up till there no more. But only after u spray the out side.

Ive had good success with corn starch. The ants are attracted to the corn starch, they carry it back to their colony. They are unable to process it and they die

Thanks for the wonder advice. I figure ill try everything first then fog if necessary. I actually found a snake baby sitter. For a few days if I have to. But the corn starch seems to be the least toxic. Ill try that too!! Thanks guys and gals

I was lucky enough this year to find on the exterior of the house where they were coming inside, and put a bunch of bait there. Within hours I had no more ants in the house, but the outside baits had attracted them like college students to a keg party.

I am taking all advice. Thankyou all. They are every where so ill start outside and work my way in.

All of the ants are gone! Haven't seen any in 2 weeks. Put bait outside and no more ants within one day.
