    Successful First Feed!
    Hey guys!

I'm super excited to say that my baby noodle, Jumbi, just successfully took down his first meal with me! *applause* If you guys saw my previous post about the awful mouse from PetSmart, you will know that this was my second attempt at feeding. Except this time, I had a viable mouse to offer!

He did get it on the wrong end though, but that was completely my fault. I didn't even notice I was offering it on the wrong end. Rookie mistake. After struggling with trying to swallow wrong end first, he got it down and is happy as ever!

He even started using his warm hide to help him digest! He never goes inside of it, but I would always catch him come out of his cold side log to warm up on top of his warm hide and crawl back to the log minutes later.

If you guys want to see the feeding, here's the link: https://youtu.be/Wm9OD5Vw3p4

Also, I do feed inside the enclosure. I don't think that moving him is necessary nor really appreciated lol. But everyone has their own opinions! :)

Congrats! With all the talk of how picky bp's can be when it comes to feeding, it's always a small victory when they go for it! Is he a banana?

Congrats, I also just got mine to take her first feed after having her for over 6 weeks. Think it didnt help that she went into a shed few weeks after I got her but hopefully she is now fully acclimated and will feed regularly for me. Have to say it was stressing me out that she wouldnt eat.:D

Thank you so much! The breeder I got him from told me he had a great feeding response and has never missed a meal. That rang true! Yes he is a banana with a possible fire gene :)

Oh yeah, I totally stress out about every single thing my snake does or doesn't! He's only been with me for 5 days now and he's doing awesome. After he's had a couple days to digest, I'm really looking forward to handling him and working with him :) Congrats on your girl! Hopefully she keeps that appetite :D

UPDATE: I just fed him again today since the 2 mice my friend gave me were on the smaller side so I kept him on a 5 day schedule. My Rodent Pro shipment comes in tomorrow, so he should have appropriate size food the next feeding day! He's got an amazing feeding response :D Here's a blurry picture of him happily taking his nom-noms.
