Mixed sex Pastel Coral Glow clutch
    Hello All,

I have read that the Coral Glow babies are almost always sex linked to the coral glow sire/dam. My clutch was made with a Pastel Coral Glow X Normal. The babies are 3 pastels, all female. 1 coral glow, female and 2 pastel coral glows 1 male and 1 female. I've popped them a few times to confirm so I'm fairly certain on the sexes. Does that seem weird at all? Any opinions would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Ron

It's odd but not impossible. I'd probe to triple check. Congrats!

From what I know this is extremely odd. Definitely probe and keep us updated. I don't work with that gene but maybe someone that does will chime in.

Having a Male maker CG does not mean that he will only produce Males, same goes if you have a CG female maker.

As for a CG dam she will produce both males and females.

Now the question is do you have a male maker or a female maker?

Thanks for the replies guys. I will probe to be sure, and update here. I'm not sure which of my Coral Glow's parents was a Coral Glow, if not both.
