So I bought a ball python from a seller on Craigslist a couple months back and he was in bad condition. I took him to the vet the day after I got him to check for RI or anything of that sort. Luckily he was infection free but was put on a prescription of antibiotics to be on the safe side. Now when I got him he had horrible husbandry. No substrate, no proper heating, etc. and because of that he had horrible sheds. I got two layers of skin off of him from soaking alone. My problem now is that I'm having a hard time getting retained shed off of his head. Soaking doesn't seem to be doing it any justice and was wondering if there were any other ways of going about it. It concerns me that I can get it off because he has a lot skin in his nostrils which cause him to puff.
