HELP! Bearded dragon might have yellow fungi.
Well... Very sad news. I do believe my year old Beardie Demeter has yellow fungi... She has a vet appointment tomorrow. More than likely she isn't coming home with us. I'm worried I'm going to transfer it to my beloved snake Athena. I always wash my hands before handing other reptiles but I'm worried it's airborne. Or something. Could someone please help me? I can't stop crying and I'm a mess. I need the best advice I can get.

Don't jump to conclusions too quickly, unless she is showing visible signs of YF. The only real way to be sure if it isn't visible is a biopsy. It could be transferred to your snake, make sure you are constantly washing your hands with soap and hot water, clean out Demeter's tank and accessories with vinegar and water solution (like, 1 cup vinegar to 10 cups water), and if it turns out to be YF wear gloves when handling Demeter, don't touch anything with them and don't let her on your clothes or anywhere other than her tank and maybe a towel you wash immediately after use.
I realize this was a while ago so hopefully the vet appointment went well!
