Any experts out there???

I'm looking into getting a female python and need to find out which FEMALE species have the best odds of becoming 8-10.5' in length when full grown. I understand there are exceptions with all species but I'm just looking for the female species the best fit this bill on average. I understand there is some information out there, but it's very broad and/or inaccurate. For just one example, it states that with black headed pythons "adults grow to an average of 1.5–2 m (4.9–6.6 ft)in total length,^[4] but can grow to a maximum total length of 3.5 m (11 ft)." To me, that means the average for both males and females is 8' and it should just say that in the first place. Although, I wouldn't know what the average would be with a female, I'm guessing 9ft?

I would look at macklots or southern white-lipped pythons. I think olive and Papuan pythons get bigger than you want, and Timor pythons top out around seven feet.

I'd check out the coastal carpet pythons.

Thanks for the very few replies. I didn't know about the macklots and southern white lipped being in this size range. I was aware about the costal. I'm looking to cover all the python species and this doesn't seem to be the best place to find out. I think I will need to try and contact someone who would know.
