How long can snake stay in a bag without heat

Hey guys-- I'm in a situation where I need to pick up a ball python tonight, but I can't get it home until tomorrow afternoon. So it would be in a pillowcase inside a Tupperware overnight. Is that going to be a problem?

Ideally if the ambient stays somewhere between 84 - 89 you are fine. If you are going to error, error on the low side instead of the high. Do not let it at any point go below 75 or above 89.

BP in pillow case. Pillow case in tub. Tub in bed with you. BP will be toasty overnight.

I would not put just the pillow case in bed with you, to prevent you from rolling onto the BP, or in case it pees overnight.

It all depends on the weather. I actually had to ship a couple recently with "cool" packs so they didn't over heat. I'd do what bcr229 said. If you are going to use tupperware, make sure there is ventilation. It seals air tight if you use the lid. I know it sounds crazy, but people forget that.

The low tonight is 78, so it's not going to get cold enough to freeze the little guy. I wish I had my IR thermometer with me to check his temp throughout the night

It's not a matter of the overnight temp, it's a matter of whether or not A/C is in use where you'll be sleeping. I keep my house thermostat at 76*F but I have to be cognizant of where the air ducts are as the cooled air comes out around 60-65*F - you don't want your BP sitting by that all night.

Ok, I'll make sure he's in a warm spot and ask the friend I'm staying with to not have the AC so cold. What do I have to worry about if he gets too cold... RI? Worse?

Should I buy a hand warmer or something to put under his tub (with a few towels in between as a buffer)?

He should be fine for one night with the ambient in the upper 70's.
