    my snake for a mild case of scale rot its not really bad or anyhting but is there something i should put on it or leave it alone vet said leave it go but im just not 100% sure if i agree. i dont want it to spread i dont want it to get worse

    Your vet could be right and it could be wrong without a picture it's hard to tell.

    For a mild case changing the substrate to clean paper towel and leaving the animal alone until next shed is often the only thing necessary.

    For other cases it might need to be addressed with anything from again changing the bedding accompanied with soaks in betadine to even antibitotics in extreme cases.

    First thing you need to do is adjust your husbandry, scale rot is due to unsanitary or damp environment.

    yes it was not due to unclean it was cause i kept it to damp ive already went to aspen shavings till shes better just hate the way its hard to get humidity

    Too moist is just as bad as unclean......it gives things a place to grow.

    yea i was having issues with my hydrometer i fixed that issue now its right just didnt know if i should do anything else then what i have

    No, just change the Aspen out for paper towels and wait for another shed. I saw your pics on reddit and it's not that bad yet.
