acrylic sheets for ball rack?

Has anyone used acrylic sheets instead of wood or pvc for a rack? Where I am acrylic sheets are cheaper than pvc.

I would say it's not a good idea. It will lack the security that a BP needs.

It does come in solid colors Dave.

Acrylic doesn't handle heat really well and if you crack it while trying to screw it together the crack can run.

Well that's true. Love to know where the OP gets if for cheaper than PVC though. My wife wants cages for her Cresties.
