Please help! Traveling with a mid shed ball python??
I'm traveling with my 9 month old ball python in a few days. It'll be an easy 6 hour car ride, except my ball python is mid-shed... He's barely getting out of the eye cap stage and he's super hungry as well. Any helpful tips or suggestions? Is the trip gonna be too stressful on him?

I'm sure it'll be stressful, but he'll get over it. They're not exactly delicate creatures. He'll be fine.

Don't feed him. Wait until the move is over and he's had a week (or at least a few days) to settle back into the new routine. Don't worry about the shed. Maybe include some extra moisture (damp paper towels, for instance) in the travel enclosure, but otherwise, don't fret it. Even if he has a flaky shed, it's not the end of the world and can be dealt with when you get settled at the new place.

    Good luck! :)

EDIT to add: Here's a link with some good tips for traveling with him!
