    Better than I hoped!
Just wanted to share my good news! Dandylion has had her first shed with me (being in my care all of 2 weeks!). Not a perfect shed, but in 3 pieces or so. I don't see any that is retained but will give her a closer inspection tonight. I'm so excited! I was expecting much worse, considering the condition in which I got her. :D

Christie that's great! I'm sure Dandylion is on her way now in your care. You must feel great helping this snake back from a not so great life!

It's such a relief. The 20g tank she's now in is soooo hard to maintain humidity. I'm trying to find some kind of rack system to switch to, and right now I'm leaning towards animal plastics or having my dad build one (he's so much better at that stuff than I am). I did recheck her and I couldn't find any retained shed. I finally feel I can relax a little about Dandylion. She eats and should put on some girth soon. Now the only problem is the overwhelming urge to get more! Ok, the more pressing problem is which kind to get. It's so hard to decide!

This is the one we are saving up for (if the car ever stops acting up and costing us a fortune to fix that is LOL). It's from Boaphile. I haven't checked out Animal Plastics lately so I'll have to go have a peek at what they are offering. I particularily liked this rack as it has both bigger and smaller bins and the dividers for the smaller bins can be added or removed as your needs change.

P.S. Sorry should I have posted this in the caging forum perhaps?
