Woo hoo: I hope they're good and they hatch.
Btw, name suggestions for parents would be appreciated..they have no names..and they are the ones I traded a big black hairy tarantula for.

Oh yeah, he turns a deeper more chocolate color of brown, but it's hard to catch him that dark on film. She's pretty yellow when she's at her best.
Re: Eggsssssssssss! (dial up warning)
Very cool! I hope the eggs turn out for you. Chances are they will be fine. It's great how easy they are.
As for names, how about Pancho and Lefty? ;)
Re: Eggsssssssssss! (dial up warning)
Well, I dunno if I'll be geting more eggs out of the pair.
Saturday morning, he looked like this:

Looks like she bit his nose...they were making a lot of noise, so I've seperated them.
Re: Eggsssssssssss! (dial up warning)
Hmm ... maybe they just need more space? What size enclosure were they in together?
Re: Eggsssssssssss! (dial up warning)
They probably need more space. 24 by 12 by 12. I'm going to keep them seperated for a bit, until I can get things worked out. They were fine until after she laid that first set of eggs...maybe she wanted a break?
Re: Eggsssssssssss! (dial up warning)
It could be that he was ready to, er, go again before she was, and she was just telling him to back off. It wouldn't surprise me. Maybe just separate them for a couple of weeks and see how they respond when reintroduced?
Re: Eggsssssssssss! (dial up warning)
give them plenty of cover egg flats, cork bark, branches, leaves, etc. you know the females are capable of sperm retention right! you can get more eggs! i pull my males out around sept. and can get eggs up to dec.!!!
