Need a lot more information about your animals to answer anything like that. General rules male 600 grams, female without knowing the animal 1500 grams and 3 years old.

What type of information do you need? Thanks for the help though I appreciate it, about the only info that I have on the pair of BP's is that there het for pied and I'm not a 100% sure on there age tho is there any way of telling?

No way to tell for sure by looking. If you do not know how old they are you are going to have to go by weight. I would ask the breeder about the age though. If they are het for pied and only het for pied i would make sure I had something to do with all the normals I am going to get from the breeding before I did it.

Ok I appreciate the info, and that's the thing the g/f won the pair as a door prize at a show so didn't really get the breeders info was just told they were het for pies and that's really the only thing they told her, if there's going to be a lot of normals in the clutch what type would you suggest to bread them too or should I just take a chance with them?

    Pied not pies.

If they are both 100% het pied your odds come out to 25% pied, 50% 50% het pied, and 25% normals. What the other user was saying is there's a very good chance (75%) you'll end up with some kind of normal. It can be difficult to sell normals, even with the 50% het pied. They were just making sure you have a plan to house babies that may not sell for months.

Wow. What a trainwreck, really love all these people who are breeding animals willy nilly.

    Pied not pies.

Seems like a bizarre and impractical 'door prize' particularly if basic info on the pair is not included.
