    Testing out my enclosure
Alright I've been testing out my soon-coming snake's enclosure for about a week now. So far, the hot spot stayed at a steady 90 degrees, however I'm having problems with the ambient temps. My other thermometer Is reading 77 degrees on the cold side. Is this good If not, how can I make it hotter?

You live in Florida. Don't run the ac so cold. I am here also. I don't run my ac at less than 84 ever.

Is the hot spot from a UTH or is it from an RHP? If from a UTH then the you can put a hide over it and the ambient under the hide will bump up a bit.

Florida here as well. I keep my central air set at 80 degrees. Problem solved.
