    Baby Ball Pyhton Behaviour
    Hi guys
i recently got a new baby ball python about 6 weeks ago.
She sometimes does this thing when i open the cage and/or take her out and place her on the ground.
Which is coming towards me with her front half the body raised pretty high (but straight not in an curved back s) with very fast tounge flicking. She only does that very rarely and always when coming towards me so i basically just shift her the other way lol. I already tried searching it up but couldnt find anything related, if you guys know why she does that i would be glad if you could share it with me. She also is very friendly, never tried biting or hissing, and never balls up when spooked.

It's called periscoping, and is very common. Search the term "periscope" here on BP.net and you'll find plenty of photos.
