What is this on her head??
This is our rescued, 3yr old female Spider Ball named Yzma. We have had her for just over a week.
Her temps are all in range, humidity is great, she's eaten for us, we change her water every other day and spot clean while we are at it. She uses both of her huts and sleeps most of the time, with the occasional day time and evening cruise.

We just took her out tonight and noticed this weird patch on the back of her head. Doesn't look like a bug. Hard to tell if it's raised as she doesn't want her head touched. I saw her rub her head on her tree when she cruised by it today... kinda like, ruuuuuuub, one long rub as she went by.
Can they have moles? Is it part of her pattern? Should I worry?

It's the round, brown spot close to her neck.

Looks like a very tiny injury, will probably be gone after the next shed. Do you feed live? Could be a rodent tooth mark.

No live food. The previous owner said her last shed was pieces and he soaked her to help it along..... when would if take her to a vet?

Definitely looks like a live dig from some point not necessarily a bite but my female mojo got a little hole like that from a struggling rat claw. It'll heal up in a few sheds and should leave minimal scarring.

It doesn't really seem like it's time to go to the vet. Could even be just some stuck shed if the last one was in pieces.

The previous owner did say that her last shed was in pieces. He said he soaked her to get it off, but I guess he missed some?

Couldn't be from prey because she eats f/t. Maybe from her climbing tree, or perhaps the top mesh? The lights sit on the mesh.... maybe she touched the lid and it was hot?
