does anyone have any pics of chondros feeding??
i know they are arboreal snakes, but can they feed while they are "hanging" onto a tree/branch...?

I've got a few shots on my cell phone of a GTP eating a mouse from a branch. Its pretty cool to see. They grab it from the branch, constrict it in the air, and swallow it all while hanging from the branch. Very cool.

Heres a few shots I found elsewhere:

That's a zebra finch. The owner finally resorted to trying some birds, the chondro hadn't eaten in like 8 months. Unlike ball pythons, chnrondo's will often make meals out of birds.

I have pics of my bp doing that with a mouse! They are in my gallery. I would put them in here, if I knew how.

good way to get a nice load of parasites.. and actually on field studies done chondros primary food intake is largely arboreal mammals

Yeah I just did some reading on these guys and the concensus is that they ground-forage for small mammals at night, and retreat to the canopy for cover during the daytime.
