    Reptile Hide Boxes
So I'm ordering ALL my stuff for my new coming ball python. He weighs (as of June the 11th) 111g. Do I go with the small size or the medium size? Thanks. I'll Include a photo :).https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?ui...2084-local0&zw

I use the mediums for my 200+ gram guys and they seem to enjoy it (they fill out almost half the hide). It should hold them until they get ~500. You can always add newspaper or moss to make it a little smaller.

ETA: I'm assuming you're speaking of the Reptile Basics hide boxes

I use small hides for 160 g Mortimer.
He loves to stuff himself into those very tightly and if I lift the hide I find him in a rectangular shape just like his hide... :D
But I'm planning to buy medium hides next month -- I think he will outgrow the small ones rather fast.

I bought some smalls as hides for crested gecko hatchlings. The opening is too small for an adult crestie. The small looks pretty small, and my best guess is that your snake would probably outgrow it pretty quickly.

Right now I'm using coconut hides for my two smallest ball pythons, and they really seem to like those. My 230+ gram ball python uses medium Exo Terra reptile caves. Some of the geckos use snake hides and vice versa, but they don't seem to mind one bit. My big male pine isle chahoua loves his medium Reptile Basics hide.

If your talking about the reptile basics hides I would go with the medium. Your snake will most likely quickly outgrow the smalls. I just recieved my toffino enchi and she is 136g and I have her in the medium stuffed with moss on the end to make them more snug. You can either stuff the mediums with something or buy both the smalls and mediums so you can switch them out once he outgrows the smalls. I never have bought the smalls but I hear they are tiny.
