Babies!!!

Finally my scorp had her babies! There's at least 25!

I don't know what to do.. gotta do my research again. Should I feed mama? I should separate her from the babies after their first molt, correct? Can the babies live together? Are baby lobster roaches good food? How often, how much?

I have no clue on how to care for the babies, but I bet mom could use some grub, and maybe the babies will feed on what she leaves behind? They are very cute, and bigger than I expected. I would just keep her well misted and see how it goes. Congrats on the new additions :)

The babies don't eat until after the first molt.. that much I know.

Ohhh ok. What all I know, LoL. Do the moms eat while they are carrying the babies? Also, do you know about how long it takes for the babies to molt?

I think the moms do eat.. sometimes they eat the babies even. I'm trying to find info, but not having much luck. I think I'll put a lobster roach in with her.

What am I gonna do with 25+ emperor scorps? Eek.. anyone in Northern Illinois area want one?

squish it! squi...i mean...congrats...wow i didn't realize just how much scorpians are not my thing until i saw those pics. i'm gonna have to check the sheets before i go to bed tonight. :O

Aww.. they aren't just a little cute? Tiny little white scorps with black eyes and little rounded stingers. Adorable.

I might be able to take a few off your hands when they grow up a little bit. You can try offering the mom a prekilled cricket. Don't disturb her very much or she might eat the babbies.

Btw, the millipedes died.

Don't mess with the babies until after the first molt for sure. Emp's are communal to begin with so the babies will probably be ok together for a little while...just be sure to feed them well so they don't eat each other.

Lobster roaches might work, but you might want to disable them a little bit before you put them in the container.
