    Because snake anatomy is cool
    We started talking about snake lungs on another post but it kind of derailed the thread so for those who are interested, ball pythons have two functional lungs at least from what i can find.

    I do believe all snakes have two lungs.. as do all air breathing/non-gilled vertebrates...
