Water bowl recommendations or suggestions
So we have been using an Exo Terra water bowl but I find it grows slime...very quickly too I might add. I guess it's the material or the surface in the humid and hot conditions that creates an algae. Anyways I am sick of having to scrub it every time I change the water... what does everyone use and have you experienced this with the Exo Terra dishes?
FYI I am changing the water every 2 days.

I use the clear glass heart shaped candy dishes from the dollar store. They are about 6 inches across and two and a half inches deep. I have never had a snake tip one because the irregular shape makes it virtually impossible. They are not prone to slime and can be put in the dish washer for cleaning. The best thing is they only cost $1. I will use the round ceramic crocks when a female is building and bowl wrapping but the rest of the time I just use the candy dishes. The only light they receive is LED during the day... it's not like green or anything just feels like a slimy film. Thanks that's a great tip - stoneware is the bomb!

Thanks I love the sounds of all of this.

I actually went to my local thrift store and bought some heavy ceramics for my snakes' water bowls. I bought a few so I can change them out and sanitize the dirty ones. Check your local thrift stores for steal deals. The bowls I got were .50 to .89 each.
