    Hydrometer recommendations?
What hydrometers do you guys use? Do you buy one for each of your tubs in a rack system or maybe just rotate one or two around?

I use one in every level and one in every wooden viv.
I've got loads of different ones like exo terra, swell reptiles and a few others. I check them all with the salt test and only use the ones that are pretty close.
The worst one I have is an exo terra one that 32% off. It was supposed to show 75% and only got to 43%.
Sorry that that's not what you asked but I thought I'd share lol.
Morel of the story is I don't trust brands only the ones I've tested.

Thanks for the recommendation! Do you have one for each of your tubs, assuming you use a rack system?

Fill a bottle lid with salt then add a little bit of water and mix it. Put the lid in a zip lock bag with your hygrometers and all your hygrometers should ready 75% after a few hours if their accurate.

I use an acurite as well. I move it around periodically but I'm going to pick up another maybe something different. I find my snakes love to knock it over.

I have a few that I move around. That and the heat gun are the best tools I have for keeping the snakes happy.
